Bump on the Head!

Mila has this new thing she does: she wants to play with something, so she'll grab your hand and take it to the thing she wants to play with, regardless whether or not if it's something she can't reach or if it's something that's right in front of her. It's too funny! Until a few days ago that is. We were playing in the living room and I was sitting on the floor, she grabbed my hand and ran behind me - in a direction my arm didn't go! Of course my arm stopped short and she fell - hitting the leg of the dining room chair in the process! She cried and now has a big ol' bump on her head! Poor thing!!!

To top it off, she hadn't taken a nap ALL DAY and was exhausted. We called the doctor and she said as long as she cried and didn't lose consciousness, she was fine. She said to put ice on it and just keep an eye on her for any strange behavior. With all this going on, dinner got delayed and because she was so incredibly tired, she did what she's never done before: she fell asleep in her high chair! We saw her eyes closing, and we'd talk to her to wake her up, but she was soooo tired! Finally, we just let her fall asleep for half an hour and then we woke her up to finish dinner. It's been a couple days, and she's alright, she just has a little bump on her head. My little girl is a tough one!
