The "pandilla"(the gang) is made up of Dolly and Mimi (the bunny). Also Kitty, but he's not pictured. Lately, she's added "Vaca Moo" (Cow Moo) and the two flash cards, Meow Meow and Guao Guao.

Lately, Mila has really gotten into dressing up Dolly, so much so, that she's even trying to put her own clothes on Dolly! So we thought it'd be a good idea to get her some doll clothes  for her to play. Well, we went to Toys R Us for doll clothes and left with this...

a Powerwheel! It was 40% off! It was too good to pass up!

Pretend Play: Grocery Shopping

Daddy came up with this great game for Mila - grocery shopping! We set up "groceries" around the house, which consists mostly of her toy fruits and vegetables, as well as some empty boxes and containers of oatmeal, puffs and baby cereal, and she goes around the apartment with her shopping cart and she "shops."

Breakfast with Abuelita

This week has been a really busy week! My mom stayed with us a few days while Jorge was out of town. She's been such amazing help, especially since I've been finishing up Jennifer & Daniel's wedding invitations. Thanks to her, I was able to get them done this week! My mom fed Mila, bathed her, played with her, changed her diaper - I don't even think I changed a single one while she was here!! LOL! And even stayed up late helping me put the invitations together. Such a HUGE help! And now they're done and ready to be sent out! I'm so excited; they came out gorgeous! I'll post pictures of the invitations soon.

Our friend Spencer had this wonderful idea to turn Mila's pack n' play into a ball pit! I thought it was BRILLIANT and we went to Target and picked up the balls for $15 bucks! Awesome!

Laundry Day

So, of course with a 10 month old running around, we don't get much of a chance to do laundry on a timely basis and so it accumulates... basically, we wait until Mila has run out of something before we realize we have a ton of laundry to catch up on. So with so much laundry to fold and a baby to entertain, laundry days have turned into Mila's play time. She loves playing in the warm clothes! And she helps Daddy fold. :)
